i might hear it later when i have time

the point is, if i were married and working in the same company as my wife and i chose to leave when my contract ended, i then would never publicly trash the company afterwards because i wouldnt wanna put the person i love in an awkward situation when she still has to go to work at said company.. it's not something a loving spouse would do. renee is not gonna like this. but hey it's his life. :manny:

The thing Renee has going for her is that she is a bit of a commodity and could easily get a job at ESPN, Fox Sports or even as an AEW announcer if she wanted to. I feel exactly what you are saying, but listening to it, Dean did a good job of being authentic but measured to make sure she caught no backlash. She'll be fine.

Doesnt seem like main eventing or money is the issue here. It's having no creative control over what your character says or does, while being force fed scripts that lead no where and make little sense.

What entitles these guys to have any "creative control"... an actor in a movie doesn't walk on set and start rearranging the entire script.

I don't think "scripts" are the problem... the problem is the person writing them (Vince)... but to act like everyone should be able to go out and just do whatever they want is gonna backfire.

everything you thought about WWE and Vince McDavis is true.
full

  • Talks about how the writers write corny or controversial shyt for him and has to always go get it undone backstage with Vince.
  • Vince tries tor always smooth over and convince Dean to continue to say said promos and Dean reluctantly agrees.
  • Basically began being burnt out and started counting down the 3 months till he knew he was gonna quit WWE
  • While recovering from injuries. Dean got the bug to come back rejuvenated with fresh ideas but was told he gonna be Seth's sidekick and they botched his return pop on RAW with overproducing Seth's promo.
  • Says he's content with his paid off house, truck, wife and isnt in it for the big time money. Just wants a fresh start and less creative restrictions on his character. Wrestling wasnt fun anymore.
  • He told HHH & Vince he was done at Royal Rumble so not to advertise him in any big storylines for the future.
  • He had a big time blow-up with Vince backstage in an office thinking he was gettin buried workin with Nia right after Rumble.
  • Got paid $500 for that "Last Ride of The Shield" Network special. Dean didnt even cash the check.
  • Dean had a hidden "jon moxley jail break trailer" in the works that he worked on with former wrestler now low level videographer "Sic Nick Mondo" since Feb to hype up his freedom from WWE and timed it for his release date
  • Mentions how Cody was his boy in WWE and they both lived and breathed Wrestling. Used to watched old clips on WWE Network together backstage.
  • Was nervous to sign another deal with a big company but says Tony Khan is the pure opposite of Vince and a legit pro wresting fan and that he & Tony never even talked money once Tony proved himself to Dean. Hope to make magic togrther.
  • Excited to work with AEW and happy to be free of writers and vince. Hopes to make AEW a powerhouse and be creatively independent and teach young cats how to work Live TV for TNT in the Fall since only him & Jericho got background in Live TV format.
I love this..what I really LOVE is how he didnt mention that fukking sendoff once:laugh:

ok so im an hour into this podcast but im hearing it in pieces, i cant sit and listen to it all at once. but im an hour in. i dont care what side of the fence youre on, u gotta admit, this dude is a terrible fukking story teller. but ok im getting through it. theres 2 main incidents hes referring to that were "breaking points" and by self admission, he backed the fukk down and tucked his tail between his legs BOTH TIMES. the first one was where he thought his lines were too corny, probably the pooper scooper bit, which by the way, someone like the rock, austin and even cena would have made that work but ok, ambrose wasnt gonna stand for it so he stormed into vince's office ready to go off on him and next thing u know he completely falls back and tells vince that if those are the lines he (vince) wants him to say, he will say them to the best of his abilities.. :wthwtf:

the other time he was supposedly gonna go off on him and tear him a new one (after reading what they had planned for him with the nia jax bit the day after mania) and get everything off his chest once and for all, ambrose admits he broke down and got emotional once he started talking to vince and they ended up rehearsing the lines and making each other laugh and again he ends up walking out of the office and goes on tv and follows the script as it was written.. :wthwtf:cmon man lol.

That's always been an issue. He didn't have the juice he thought he had. If Vince trusts you, he'll let you do you. You think Punk's pipebomb was a freestyle? It's all a work.

:smh: This is another reason why I can’t be one of those fans that be like “shut up and be happy, stop crying, you should be grateful for working for WWE, indies are :scust:, come back to WWE, etc“ We constantly see why folks be wanting to :camby: contract renewals and such. Can’t imagine what Sasha and everyone else is dealing with being lied to and shyt. Bu bu but suck it up tho

You gonna forget the SHIELD was hand picked to be in that position? :usure:

Come on, breh, the IWC isn’t new to you. You know how the McMachine works. :comeon:

Dean even mentioned there wasn’t any plans for his face run. He got over and Cokeboy gave him his shine.

That's kind of my point. They started off debuting during the main event of a PPV. The buzz was there. A lot of guys would've loved to be in that position. Not to say they wouldn't had those same talking points, but there needs to be some consciousness in regards to his spot.
