Again.....Cocaine is not going to make you a better fighter.....It will not prevent or make it more difficult for your lights to go out or being choked out..
steroids won't make you a better fighter either. if you were one of his opponents you wouldn't be sayin this shyt. cocaine without question gives you an unfair advantage when going into combat. it unnaturally increases your adrenaline and makes you temporarily numb to pain. the pain will be there when the high wears off, but while you on it you're pain threshold is going to be much greater. you never got an adrenaline rush before?.....now imagine that only much stronger. dude cheated....plain and simple. I don't even fukk with MMA but dude should be stripped of his title.

My question to you is have you ever been in a fight..? And its apparent that you haven't....Anyone who is in a fight is gonna get an adrenaline rush, and if they can't fight or are the inferior opponent, they'll still getting knocked, stomped, choked out......And yes Coke can make you numb the effects of your pain receptors momentarily.....but in no way shape or form does that guarantee anything.. Not by a longshot...

Besides, he tested clean after the fight so I don't see why people even bring this point up......

jones likely had zero say in going to rehab. the ufc probably forced him to go to rehab as part of their "code of conduct" thats written into the fighters contracts. the ufc is the one doing it for the PR. doesnt hold water tho since they let him fight so they could pocket that ppv revenue, showing its not about the "code of conduct" at all, but like any other corporation is only about the money. i dont really read anything in mma circles, websites and all of that. but its pretty remarkable what little the ufc continues to pay these fighters in comparison to the shyt tons of money they bring in with zero media backlash that i have seen. fukking pieces of shyt from the top on down in that organization. fighters making 5k and shyt for a fight on some of these ppvs. absurd

http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/1/7...mmission-calls-jon-jones-drug-test-failure-an

According to sources close to the situation, Jones was not notified by the Nevada Athletic Commission of the failed drug test before the fight. Sources say he was informed by UFC officials on Monday, two days after UFC 182. NAC executive director Bob Bennett told MMAFighting.com that he would defer to the UFC about when the promotion informed Jones of the news but confirmed that, to the best of his knowledge, Jones was only told after the fight. The UFC declined to comment on their timeline of events.

I never unequivocally said it did. The perception is there and that alone compromises the integrity of the sport, and if the integrity of the sport is comprised, then so are the outcomes. Only a few studies have been conducted on it and while they came to the conclusion that Cocaine in itself does not enhance performance, they conceded that an athlete who uses cocaine regularly may feel (in his/her mind) that it enhances performance.

Lawrence Taylor (and he's not the only one) admitted to using Cocaine beginning in 1982, he admitted to cocaine use while earning the MVP award. Lawrence Taylor's game may not have been enhanced by cocaine but it sure as hell didn't hurt it!!!!! And in his mind, it made him feel invincible and give harder hits (which is conducive to a bone-crushing sport like football), the type of hits he most likely credited to cocaine. My main points are that fans are justified in asking those questions and two:

Irrespective of whether athletes feel enhanced while participating in sport, frequent and prolonged Cocaine usage is not conducive to a healthy life. Period.

Do you disagree with that statement?
