it's between Anderson and Jones no doubt

However if/when Bones surpasses Silva's title defense record there can be no more argument. Out of all the GOAT candidates , Jon has fought the tougher competition by far.

:smh:The MMA Mayweather. Dude is clearly the best, undefeated, never has appeared to be in trouble, yet people refuse to give them 100% credit. Meanwhile their favorite fighter has been knocked out, loss decisions, struggled against fighters that Floyd/Jon steamrolled, etc.

Jones did struggle against Gustafson breh:manny:

Comier was fukking him up before he got thumb in the eye forgot he was winning and abandoned his strikes and clinch fighting game......

Jones is very human, his boxing aint shyt, he will get koed for trying a kick with someone 2 inches in front of hm one day, his reach protects these flaws, he just mastered other bytch ass ways to make he seem invisible, like the eye pokes, and shoulders to the jaw when he gets jab; but I feel Jones will have issues always with someone who gets in his shyt and dont respect his strikes; he should try to avoid his last 2 opponents

His last two fights showed what little he has learnt about striking defence having a good chin doesn't change the fact you are getting hit a lot. Just don't know how to answer the title, Anderson was held to such a standard if he didn't finish or wow us ppl cried foul. Jones has a wrestling base and is now using it to kill the clock. Yes he is facing a who is who but sho, vitor and the rampage of now are feasts for wrestlers. Sonnen/Rashad while having that base were undersized. And then there is Glover who just got exposed by another wrestler.

All these fighters including machida are at the avg age of 35, the one guy that was in his age bracket was Gus. Read into that what you may

Whenever someone competes with the champ, people see it as an L. Gus lost his heart in the 4th round and jones took his soul. And now that jones is saying hes going to start training in between fights, saying hes back to training next week? Gus is going to get DESTROYED in his next fight.

If rumble dont knock him into another world.

It's funny to me that Aldo gets totally disrespected in these discussions.

Now I'm not saying he's the greatest, but at this point he should at least be in the discussion. He's steamrolled his division pretty much the same way Jones has. If Jones is #1 P4P, Aldo is 1b.

Including his WEC run, Aldo is at 9 straight title defences. :wow: He's in the top 5 of all time.

So show me someone jones age or younger who can take it to jones and get the belt? The age thing is a factor but it's literally his physical stature that these fighters can't compete against and his more unorthodox striking. Cause Gus ain't the answer.
