Expose i doubt it. Cormier will hit Jones harder then hes ever been hit before and he will take jones down. Jones will more then likely get taken down trying to take jones down and definately up against the cage. The fight cant stay in the center of the ring forever friend. Cormier also has no quams counter punching against strikers. Dont be shocked if Jones tries to work bjj from the bottom and just gets pounded on.

Where are you guys getting that DC is easily going to get within Jones reach and dominate? He will be lucky if he gets Jones down after a few elliptical knee kicks. And thinking DC will be able to hold someone as long and strong as Jones down for lengths at a time.

Jones has no power in his hands so his defenses will be easy to penetrate.

Cormier in exchanges has serious power and has potential to really hurt jones standing to the body and with uppercuts from the clinch.

HIs kicking is the biggest threat to cormier.

People gotta stop downplaying the range efficiency on Jones. Someone actually said the lankiness was a vulnerability, lol. It doesn't matter if Cormier gets past Jones fists, theres a standing elbow strike waiting to rock him.

I'm actually pumped to hear Jones talking about opening people up. It's been a while since he wanted to drop some 'bows. I can see Cormier just run out of options once his takedowns get neutralized. Maybe a punches chance. Get outclassed in the octagon brehs.

He's one of the best. I've been following dc since strike force I am a fan. Jones has faced better competition and the reason why people think dc is the. "Best" opponent is because of his Olympic wrestling which is all fine and dandy but he's not gonna rag doll jones on top of that for him to really have a shot at beating jones is at hw with a healthy knee. Cormier isn't built to fight at 205 dude had kidney failure trying to drop weight in the Olympics. He's a bigger dude and he would do damage there. Jones may not have ko power in his fists but it's his kicks and elbows that will do the trick. I think it's 70-30 in favor of jones if it was at hw 55-45 in favor of jones. I see jones hitting Cormier with a couple of straight lefts to the dome tho I'm not gonna totally rule out his fists. But I think he will use his punches as a measuring stick to throw out some lunging elbow strikes. Quote me on the night of sept 27th

I'm not saying dc is above Gus or machida when jones fought him. He's on par with both of them. They all have different strengths and weaknesses though. Heck I think rashad pre curse black zillions gives dc a fit.
