I'm so glad this is flopping. I really hated the first one. It sucked all of the life out of the character, and I still think it was super weird how most of the people who represented "the system" were Black women. No one ever touches that, but it was definitely a choice to cast those particular people in those particular roles that frustrated Arthur or blocked him from something. Whole movie was a wack dog whistle.

Why do peoppe keep saying he purposely made a bad film because he didnt want to be asked to do another one? Are people forgetting he ripped off two or three classic movies to come up with the first? And it was still garbage to me,so imagine how bad it wouldve been without the plagarism

The mistake was giving him a 200 mil budget as an exec without first asking "What movies will you be stealing from this time champ?" before you wrote the check.

I’m saying, bro definitely made this pretentious bs on purpose. Expecting rave reviews and awards lol. Now a movie that was bad on purpose is the matrix resurrections.

I don't understand why people loved the first movie. Was way too slow and boring to me. Best part of the movie was at the end.
