you literally just made this up.
Do you even watch eastern conference basketball? Wizards made the playoffs four of Wall's last five years healthy.
True shooting%?? What does some free throw and 3ppt algorithm have to do with "natural abilities"? Hes literally top 5-10 in player efficiency among PG's almost every single year averaging 19 and 10. Thats not "awful" nor is it average. Its pretty darn good.
Idk what it is with John Wall some ppl just be programmed to autohate
Using 500 game started as a baseline,
In the years John Wall has been in the league, he's 10th out of 14th in value over replacement among PGs (half of what players like Westbrook and Harden have done)
He's 14th out of 14 in TS%.
He's 12th out of 14 in WS/48 minutes.
He's 11th out of 14 in FG%.
The best he's ever done is led Washington to a 4th place finish in 2016-17 and he was woefully inefficient against Boston in the playoffs and outplayed by Isaiah Thomas.
And now he's about to turn 30 years old coming off a major injury.
So really, what is it that you guys see in John Wall other than a supreme athletic marvel who can't do anything other than jack up inefficient shots and empty assists?
Is the PPG/APG slash line the only way you guys judge players?
John Wall is overrated and figures to only trend down given his age and health history.
But I suppose I get it.
If all you care about is a guy's highlights....that's going to loom larger in your minds than actual winning basketball.
