No, if I remember correctly, your fan base blamed Geno for being assaulted and proceeded to cheer on the journeyman white QB who all of you know is fool's gold because he proved it playing on a team in your division and being trash once he got paid. Jets fans shytted on Geno from the start. The blatant fact he didn't have any weapons and was on a team that wasn't constructed to compete didn't matter. He gets punched by a teammate in an offseason where all reports in camp were that he looked really good and y'all finally put some talent around him and you proceeded to go with the old white guy that had proven by then that he's not winning any team a Super Bowl.
