#1 - had Webb started it would be someone we just drafted and were willing to give a shot. Unlike Geno who played for the Jets and we saw him and nobody thought we would build our team around.

If Webb plays well against OAK, you're probably right. Nobody has an issue with benching Eli to seek your future QB. Benching Eli for a QB that wasn't the future wasn't gonna fly.
