They're taking one woman's opinion and running wild with it, hence the tone and nature of their posts where they can get off their women-hating bullshyt. We have multiple posters coming in here saying how women shouldn't be anywhere near the NBA. The large majority of posters who come into this thread wouldn't have even heard what Stephanie Ready said in the first place, yet it still hasn't stopped them from using the thread title as a means to be outraged thinking there was some grand narrative being run about how there's accusations of Embiid trying to assault her.

Nobody has accused him of anything.

Proving my point that the real sensationalism is actually coming from the side that is trying to speak women's outrage over this into existence.

In regards to the issue that Stephanie perceives, well, I think that's an entirely different argument to the one that's being presented with this thread, and it's a lot more nuanced than a lot of cats on here are willing to discuss, for obvious reasons.

Up until my initial post two posters were talking about no women as refs. @Soldier & @AAKing23 a known stan lol

I watched the video trying to be as objective as possible and yes embiid was aggressive and should have been less confrontational and in your face, but that is nothing close to assault lets be clear about that, players get heated at referee and get in their faces, this isnt the first time in the NBA. It requires nuance and is not black or white, embiid was wrong for trying to get in her face but this is not assault and i see no reason he should be suspended for this, a heavy fine is the proper punishment
