Any racism white people perceive coming from non whites, especially black people is purely reactionary. They have our crime statistics memorized. We don’t have their mass shooting statistics memorized. When we say we want to avoid being around them, it’s due to our own personal experiences, and things that have built up over time. A white person can have a lifetime of no personal interaction with black people, and still hate us. Nobody says they don’t want to be around white people because they are afraid of getting shot by a depressed white guy who wants to kill innocent people, or they fear one of them overdosing in front of us.
