Anyone who interprets this as anything other than Joe being a hater after he literally called Brady the GOAT in June is a Marino stan or Brady hater or both. I fukk with the OP but we all know he is both. And I’m not debating anybody on this.

And those type of QBs are becoming obsolete in this era. Brady’s the last of that type of QB who will have a long NFL career. And defenses are much more complex than in that era granted the rules are much softer.
Like Brett Favre won 3 straight MVPs and he was there on the Manningcast and it was abundantly clear that Peyton and Eli were miles ahead of him processing a defense. I’m not saying Dan wasn’t brilliant - I believe all timers are all timers almost whenever - but I do think modern players aren’t given enough credit sometimes.

I can take all the great QBs pinnacle year snd remove it and it wouldnt affect them too much.
