Damn these dudes hated each other.

I love Ali but he was wrong for a lot of the things he said in the lead up to the fight. Especially the “gorilla” stuff.
Ali went overboard with alot of the bullshyt he said and it was one of the few times in his Career when Racist whites LOVED him lowkey for all the disparaging shyt he said about Joe while looking forward to seeing the "Sambo match" where they didn't care who beat the hell out of whom for their enjoyment.
Shoulda pulled his ego back, see the play and taunted him in a different way. I wish someone would have checked him on that shyt back then, though.

Yall gotta be some cacs.
75% of Ali's appeal was the fact that he hyped fights better than a prime McMahon.
He did and said whatever he had to, and he put butts in seats.
Ali was before his time when it came to building buzz and promotion. And yes he made it personal.
He had to call that big ole bear out several times to get him in the ring
And the best thing was... anything bruh said, he backed it up.
Ali said later in life he regretted that shyt
Calling another black man a gorilla was disrespectful as fukk. There’s hyping a fight and then there’s making something personal. It hurt Joe immensely that Ali took it there. A lot of people even back then took offense to what Ali said. It wasn’t necessary.Yall gotta be some cacs.

Yeah, the Gorilla stuff should have been stopped.
yall showing your inferiority complex
Ali always called his opponent some kind of animal
Sonny Liston was the big ugly bear for example
Fraiser was mad because he called him an uncle tom, and people still running with that shyt black people turned against fraiser and was calling a c00n like nikkaz is quick today too, so that's why he was heated
