The thing is though I feel like a lot of these QBs are going to end back up with their same team again next year as there are too many QB needy teams and not enough QBs to go around.
Cam's supposed to be better than any of those QBs, I say supposed since we don't know what's left of him. And if he isn't you can move on after one year. You have to give something to get him but the risk/reward is greater with him than anybody on those lists.
Nobody around has a clue what they'll do and they haven't finished filling out the staff but there's too many scenarios where Cam's gone in the next few months or year, a lot more than him staying. Jumping up for Herbert or Tua if he's cleared and letting them sit behind him, trading him and re-signing Allen to fill in for a year, keeping him and drafting Lawrence in 2021. Rhule likes playing down the field and healthy Cam struggled with accuracy, we still don't know what he fully looks like after the shoulder surgery.
