The only negative with Warren is Bidens age, the idea of a socialist becoming president if Biden croaks in office will scare some people away...

This isn't a real problem, Elizabeth Warren ain't no damn socialist. She spent the whole primary highlighting the fact that she's a capitalist and believes in markets. She literally stood up and clapped at the SOTU when Trump said America will never be a socialist country. The policies she's pushing are trying to save capitalism from running off the tracks like it has been doing unchecked for the past like 40 years.

Man, this is the equivalent of Bernie stans saying he should pick Nina Turner or Cornel West or some other leftist as his VP back when he looked like he'd clinch the nom. It was dumb when they said it and it's dumb when centrists try the same argument now. The party is ideologically diverse and that should be reflected on the ticket. Moderates already won by having their man Biden at the top of the ticket, extending an olive branch to the other end of the ideological spectrum by having a progressive in the VP spot is necessary. If Biden picks some ideological clone, that's an active insult to the millions of progressive Democrats Biden will need to both win the election and govern effectively.

She's not a socialist and has made it clear she is a capitalist when discussing differences between her and Bernie. Issue with Warren is that big dem donors don't like her or her policies. Flip side is that she can raise money, and her fundraising base could help propel Biden (who, to be fair, is raising a lot of money on his own right now).
