:mjlol: Joe can get his jokes off ngl. I'm excited to see what kind of zingers him and trump cook up for each other

Joe is a lot better off cuff like when he got into it with that guy in Pennsylvania (?). When he tries to remember from script he loses his train of thought. He should just let it all hang out:lolbron:

If you were to cancel out the reasons why Warren won't be chosen, ideally Biden/Warren would be perfect because Biden can focus on you know, the thing. while Warren focus on everything else.

“If they go with a black woman, it would be Kamala Harris, but she’s a clunky communicator and couldn’t generate any excitement for her own campaign with black or white voters,” the Biden insider said.”
“No one takes Stacey seriously. And her public campaigning for the job seems more like a hostage negotiation than an actual attempt to get the job,” a Biden insider told The Post. “Biden is an old school guy and will always be. Picking Stacey would be like picking [Sarah] Palin. He doesn’t need to throw a Hail Mary. He wants a good governing partner.”

Internally, her star has fallen with the onset of the coronavirus as concerns grow about her preparedness.

“Stacey isn’t ready on day one. Even she knows that and it’s why she’s engaging in this dance. She might get perfunctorily better, but she’s not a serious pick for him. And her campaign is viewed as much as promotion for her book as it is for being chosen as Biden’s VP,” the insider continued, referring to Abrams’ forthcoming book “Our Time Is Now.”

this biden insider sounds real :mjpls:

I'm voting for Biden no matter what. I'd feel a lot better about it if Warren was his VP, though.

doesnt your first sentence invalid your second? :mjlol:

I mean I get it but you pretty much admitted your feelings don’t matter.

We already knew the money class didn't like Warren. Wall Street people said as much to start the primary (they didn't her or sanders being the nominee but everyone else was fine). Then we saw actual billionaires crying on TV and Bill Gates even started making noises when she was within striking distance of Biden in the polls.

Them not wanting her to be VP and the presumptive Dem nominee for the 2024 presidential cycle is not a really new information.

The backroom dealing aspect of the VP selection is pretty interesting and I wish we could see it play out. Abrams doesn't have the connections to play that game which is why we see her doing it in public. Big Gretch can easily be dismissive of campaigning for it in public, while making moves in private if she does want to be VP (that's the proper way to do it). Obviously the Senate trio have their contacts and they can do things like this or host townhalls with Biden to politc in a more 'tasteful' manner.
