Liz is too old. Can’t have a VP in their 70s. Kamala would be a disaster. Her criminal justice record is just as bad a Biden. That is like doubling down on a weakness.

Biden was 66 in 2008. :dahell:

Warren is 70, on the dot. :dahell:

I don't see how this is a distinction with meaning. :dahell:

It is because Biden is old. If Biden serves all 4 years Liz will be 74/75 going in 2024. People are already uneasy about Biden’s age. He needs someone much younger. His VP should be under 65. If age wasn’t a factor Barbara Lee would be the best choice.

Tim Ryan should be the pick

Couldn't even get 2% in the primary :gucci:

I'd be more impressed if Joe became #YangGang @Shogun @Arbitrage! @LurkMoar

What does the presidential succession act say, does the speaker of the house become president if the vice president dies too?

Barbara Lee and Biden do not share the same politics. Like at all

Yes. If the POTUS & VP is removed from office (or passes away at the same time), the Speaker of the House becomes the President.

Do you not understand the point of picking a VP? It's usually to unite the party and/or to stretch your coalition.

Ronald Reagan HATED George H.W. Bush in 1980. Yet, he still chose him to be his VP because it was a way to unite the Republican Party. Bush 41 was more moderate than Reagan and Bush 41 was apart of the GOP establishment. Reagan chose him so that some of the more moderate Republican voters would be OK with voting for him because at least they knew that Bush 41 was the Veep.

Anyways, Barbara Lee doesn't want to be VP and she's too old.

Stop saying this. Joe Biden picking Tim Ryan to be his VP would be one of the WORST decisions he could ever make.

Tim Ryan is boring and nobody would give a sh!t about him. Also, he wouldn't help Joe at all. He doesn't help Joe win Ohio (and Joe doesn't need to win Ohio to become the President).

Furthermore, picking Tim Ryan would make even more younger progressive voters frustrated with Biden. Tim Ryan would be a HORRIBLE pick for VP.

STOP IT! :hhh:.

If Biden is going to do that, then he'd pick an Elizabeth Warren, right?

They don't like each other and she's obviously more progressive. There'd be less Wall Street ghouls in the administration too.

Yeah I understand that, but do you think establishment Dems do? HRC picked fukking Tim Kaine and I would be willing to bet that Biden and his republican team are going to pick another moderate as well. These people dont give a fukk about progressives or progressive policies

Yes, that would be a reason to pick Warren.

Alright, calm down. Biden is moderate but he is not a Republican :mjlol:.

Also, Joe Biden is more "progressive" now than he was back in like 2008.
