For example Georgia presidential election from 2016
Electoral votes 16
Popular vote Trump 2,089,104 Clinton 1,877,963
Percentage 50.44% 45.35%

You can't tell me if you galvanize the black votes in Georgia the Dems can't flip that state.

I think you underestimate how many votes that is. Do you realize Obama didn't come close to flipping GA either time? If he didn't do it in 2008 then it's not happening with Stacey Abrams as a VP. I literally just had this same argument in another thread. The numbers don't support this at all.

When u talk about picking a number 2 due to a potential of flipping one state especially a southern state from red to blue in a national election, that person is not it.

True but you need a splash VP candidate. Biden already looks like more of the same. This cannot be a time where the Dems play safe especially when the Repubs always play to win.

Stacey Abrams ain't splash :mjlol:

If anything it's splash in the wrong direction. Good luck teeing up Trump to go after a VP candidate that was a state legislator and could become VP with a 77 year old at the top of the ticket. That shyt would be red meat for his base.

Who you think Biden should select?

I dont know breh, it's probably a woman or likely a woman of color but we really dont know. It could be a woman senator, governor, mayor or even a businesswoman.

I think he has to pick a woman. I just broached the topic of Sanders as VP. That's the only white man or man in general that could be picked as VP without hurting Biden politically.

I dont think Bernie would be interested tho.

Like I said, we're at a point where that type of experience doesn't matter. Obama was a 1 term Senator but he had the unstoppable momentum. The Dems party had it set up for Hillary in in 2008. You go with what can get the voters out. Trust me, barring this virus shyt, Trump will get that right out to vote.

She doesn't do that unless you mean that she drives voters purely by being black. If so then why not pick someone with more experience?

If Sanders was 10 years younger, I would say yes select Sanders.

You're right, it needs to be a respectable woman of color. I do prefer a African American women over any other women in the Dem party.

They need to let Stacey Abram speak at the Democrat Convention. That women got the juice bro.

I remember having to watch Obama speak at the 2004 Democrat Convention for a class. I'll I could say was who is this funny name dude with the juice. Stacey reminds reminds me of a young Obama.

I dont know if this subject was broached but wat if Biden picks Bernie as his VP

I know there is practical issues with this but that ticket would be unstoppable.

Perfect joining of forces to destroy evil.
the flabby sickness of that ticket can't be ignored

No I don't say Stacey just because she's black. That wouldnt be genuine. I believe she is a legit authentic, smart, intelligent women. She reminds me of a young Obama.

To be honest I do think the black voters selected Biden because he was the most familiar candidate. All the the other candidates had past issues with their black communities.
