Who is “they” besides you and atlrocafella?

Talk about local official

one of the main lobbyists on our main political talk show did so very hard today. Theron Johnson he ran the campaign for Kasim Reed who was the ex mayor. He also led the entire 2012 southern strategy for Obama’s 2012 campaign and led the Jon ossof campaign but lost He’s the de facto voice in ga for democratic politicians. https://www.linkedin.com/in/theronjohnson

This is the most recent example bc it came out today. But ppl been talking about it for months now, within the political space down here. And democrats have been dropping tea leaves on tv, radio, podcasts for a while now. I just don’t have the time to find everything.

Him saying it out loud is huge! It’s no longer a rumor, she gave him a go ahead to admit it on air.

Plus she’s a FAMU alum, and she may make Florida interesting :ehh:. Georgia is about to turn purple as well.

Either way there were rumors she backstabbed Stacy a month or two back and black ppl stopped supporting her non profit so heavy monetarily. keishas also been team joe and very loyal, endorsing him almost immediately after he announced his candidacy.

Either way the rumors are 100% true. Keishas gunning for the VP spot. It was openly admitted today. :yeshrug:

Her gunning for it and Theron Johnson being the “they” is not nearly the same atmosphere of her being in a realistic mix. Lol at Georgia being purple, y’all gotta stop.

I said about to be purple. the governor race was a 50%- 49% split. If that doesn’t count as purple then wtf does lol :mjlol:

and I said Theron Johnson was the most recent example. U seem to have something against Georgia and just dismissing shyt.

Ain’t purple if you ain’t getting state wide victories sir. At some point you gotta be relevant in the entire state and win before making that claim. Abrams ain’t do it, Osoff ain’t do it, KLB is in Atlanta only. They can be relevant here and do good things but flipping states ain’t in that grasp right now.

I mean sure if that qualifies as “they are talking about it” then I guess.

Does it make any sense in trying to win a presidency? I don’t see it.

Dunno man. If Andrew Gillum was more than a former mayor he'd be the clear choice to me. When I think about someone they might pick thinking it's smart, but in reality it's stupid...I think of Beto and Harris. I have a feeling one of them will be picked.
They are trying to hem Gillum up on false charges in Florida over Hamilton tickets. I think it’s a hit to make it impossible for him to run for governor again. Especially cause I doubt Russia will be able to cheat like they did for Desantis. Regardless it makes it impossible for him to be the VP cause Biden is gonna have to deal with the Ukraine fukkery l
Someone who will help win the Midwest.

Stacy Abrams didn't even win her own election so I wouldn't pick her. Don't include Beto and Gillum for the same reason.

Pick winners.

I'd go with Klobuchar.
I would really like Gillum. I like him a lot. I honestly don't understand what people see in Stacy Abrams.
Well not Andrew GIllum.

:wow:

Welp :whew:

two states in the south have shown they “could” be flipped Florida and Georgia with a large black turnout.

she’s the best one to do that, if the dems want to incorporate that strategy

Florida’s always been a swing state

georgia dems lost by 55k votes in 2018

Voting registration non profits have already gotten 350k “new voters” in the state. With a goal of 750k by the 2020 election date. Georgia has had the best get out to vote initiative hand down.

Georgia is in play

I’ll use GA Presidential races as a barometer:

The last three elections Dems have lost by 200K some odd votes that is a huge gap to make up. Granted those number of new voters are impressive but what is the demographic? Will they show up? How does that balance with what the other side is doing? 500k people were thrown off the roles for various reasons.

It’s a huge mountain and voting history doesn’t suggest a change. Where is the driver to 200K more votes than Obama in a historic 2008?
