What is reasonably leftists about Rice

All for the discussions but they are going to demonize the pick regardless of who it is
Warren would bring out the progressives

Harris secure the Black vote and a sizable bit of the minority vote and maybe even some "tough on crime" times

Those are the best options

That’s doesn’t address my post.

Even still Rice and Biden are leftist but Warren bringing out Progressive isn’t?

Why wouldn’t Rice secure the black and minority vote?

I don’t see the logic here.

I asked this up thread but why does the VP HAVE to be the candidate in 2024? Is that some kinda rule? I don’t understand why people are factoring that into who Biden picks.

If Biden steps down or decides not to run in 2024, his VP would be best suited to replace him. Traditionally vice president is moreso of a ceremonial job where you don't do much. But dikk Cheney and Biden ended up being the most powerful/influential VPs in modern history because the president gave them power and latitude to do shyt. I would assume that if Biden becomes president, he will lean on his VP similarly to how Obama leaned on him. So if he decides not to run, that VP is going to have a lot of executive experience and respect around the world. That type of resume will out shine anyone she faces in a 2024 primary. She will also have higher name ID than anyone.

The fact that the VP will be a woman protects her even more. I think there will be hesitation to topple this person - whether they become president because Biden stepped down, or are still VP because Biden announced he won't run again. Can you imagine if Kamala Harris is president in 2023 for instance...will anyone run against the first black female president? The first female president? I doubt it. Same with Warren if she's the pick and becomes president.
