and honestly Biden is just playing politics. America doesn't wanto address the real root of crime, therefore we counteract it with short term solutions ( a heavier police presence). Addressing the root of crime requires deep systemic change which is brought about by legislative action. Biden can't even pass legislation that is even remotely beneficial to the working class and poor people because our politics have become too corrupted. Members of his own party have largely obstructed any earnest attempt to address major issues. So here we are.

In alot of cases. Police haven't been defunded and some cities eclipse even the Ukrianian Army budget for one city and crime never gets curbed or stopped. We tried asking nicely for years for police to stop fukking with us and even did the song and dance with good cops but nothing changes. Our economics and wages need to change before we give police budgets of small counties imo.
