So basically, nukes were the best invention in terms of global security, and luckily we were the only ones to use them in war as far as i know.Russia just made NATO stronger than ever with more spending on defense than ever. If we get into it with China, NATO is into with China. Who is China gonna have in their corner? The other BRICS? Out of that "other", Russia was the only militarily credible one before their invasion. Now they ain't even credible.
And you all talking about nukes are basically acknowledging that America would kick everyone's ass in a non-nuke war. It's basically China deciding that they will invade Taiwan but as soon as they see America on the scene it's "ok, we don't want any of that so let's just end the world." Does that even make any sense? You don't invade Taiwan to turn around and end the world, what would have been the point of invading in the first place?
I wouldn't go send my people to fight a losing battle just to resort to killing all of us out of embarrassment. I'd hope a world leader has at least that much sense
