ARE U SERIOUS? LMAO

COOPER WAS A DPOY CONTENDER YEAR IN N YEAR OUT…..

He finished top-3 in the DPOY vote once in his career.

Rest of the time he was one of those guys getting 4-5 votes at the bottom of the standings.

Mark Eaton in the exact same era won two DPOY titles and finished 2nd/3rd in other years, should he be in the Hall? Bruce Bowen finished 2nd in DPOY voting three years in a row, should he be in the Hall?

DPOY IS THE DEFENSIVE VERSION OF MVP.. AND DEFENSE IS 50% OF THE GAME FOO

Then why the fukk did Michael Cooper come off the bench and only play 25 minutes/game? :laff:

You're trying to call him MVP-equivalent when he couldn't even start for his own team. He was a 6th-man who couldn't even win a 6MOY award (finished 3rd once and 4th once).

Imagine behind Norm Nixon starting ahead of Cooper for 5 years, or Byron Scott starting ahead of Cooper for 7 years, and they aren't in the Hall but the inferior player coming off the bench BEHIND them gets in.

IMAGINE BEING A CONTENDER FOR BEST DEFENDER IN THE LEAGUE YEAR IN N YEAR OUT.. THEN SOME FORUM POSTER COMES ALONG SAYIN U SHOULDNT BE IN THE HALL OF FAME ALL BECAUSE HE LOVES LEBRON

You've said that Draymond Green doesn't deserve HOF and isn't a HOF caliber player, and Draymond's accolades are FAR better than Michael Cooper's. Draymond won DPOY, twice runner-up, 3rd-place finish too, 4 All-Star appearances, 2 All-NBA appearances.....outside of the one DPOY win, those are all things that Cooper NEVER did. So why the hell do you claim that Draymond isn't a HOF player and Cooper is? Draymond has FAR more of an impact on defense than Cooper did.

And that's why Draymond actually started for his teams playing 30-35 mpg and wasn't a bench player putting in 25 mpg like Cooper. :mjlol:

Michael Cooper's resume and role is literally Tony Allen on a better squad with more nostalgia. :russ:

U START YOUR POST WIT A LIE SO HOW CAN IT BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY?

HE FINISHED IN TOP 3 DPOY TWICE, WINNING IT ONCE

MARK EATON DOESNT HAVE THE TITLES N BRUCE BOWEN DOESNT HAVE A DPOY

SO NO

AND AS GOOD AS BYRON N NORM WERE, THEY WERE INTERCHANGEABLE, WHILE COOPER WAS MORE INTEGRAL TO THE LAKERS SUCCESS, AND TRUE ENTHUSIASTS KNOW THAT

6MOY USUALLY GOES TO PLAYERS WHO PUT UP BIG OFFENSIVE NUMBERS, MUCH LIKE MVP, SO DEFENDERS TYPICALLY GET SLIGHTED IN THESE AWARDS, WHICH IS WHY DPOY IS SO IMPORTANT

THATS WHY U CAN BE A POOR DEFENSIVE PLAYER N STILL WIN MVP

TONY ALLEN ALSO DOESNT HAVE A DPOY AND LACKING THE 5 RINGS AS WELL

COOPER IS ALSO A BETTER PLAYER THAN DRAYMOND… DRAYMOND WOULD ONLY SEE THE FLOOR IN GARBAGE TIME IF HE WAS ON THE SHOWTIME LAKERS

LOL

WTF does Michael Cooper's HOF candidacy have to do with Lebron? Y'all are fukking obsessed here. :russ:

You didn't answer the question. You said that being a contender for best defender in the league year in and year out was enough to make the hall......yet you turn around and say Draymond doesn't deserve it even though he is a far more valid "Contender for Best Defender in the League Year in and Year Out" than Michael Cooper ever was.

I've asked you twice now - if Michael Cooper was an MVP-level player, if he really deserved the Hall, then why the fukk couldn't he start on his own team? Why did the Lakers only play him 25 minutes/game if he was so important to the team?

And of course Draymond is starting over Jim Chones, Mitch Kupchak, Kurt Rambis, and A.C. Green, he does literally everything better than them. I'm not sure you even remembered who played PF for the Lakers if you're gonna say dumb shyt like that. :comeon:

BASED ON NBA’S CRITERIA DRAYMOND WILL MAKE IT

I JUST THOUGHT IF CHRIS WEBBER WASNT IN THEN DRAYMOND SHOULDNT BE IN

BUT WEBBER MADE IT SINCE THEN.. AND SO WILL DRAYMOND

DRAYMOND IS UNDERSIZED TO BE AN EFFECTIVE PF IN THE 80S

AND NOT SKILLED ENOUGH AS CHARLES TO PULL IT OFF

KURT RAMBIS WOULD ACTUALLY BE DPOY IN THIS SOFT ASS ERA TO KEEP IT A BUCK
