Chris Brown has Native American ancestry, and is lighter than all three women mentioned and yet you said those three women are racially ambiguous whilst he’s not.

Who’s mistaking those three women for anything other than black?
take breezy off then

that leaves only 2 people (kevin hart and bron) who look unmixed

so OP's point was correct: that general society rarely supports brehs who have sub-saharan african phenotypes

Cacs have been doing this since the beginning of time. Every thing they’ve ever done was emulated from brehs.

people said the same thing about music until recording sales.

it was very normal throughout human history for people to perform popular songs and that was how they were passed around. you knew composers but it was like nobody actually owned songs. if a dance can be demonstrated to have identifiable unique steps and sequences then why not. in your example all someone has to do is change the name to hit a lick off you. :mjlol:

do the hampton stir y'all :mjlol:
If you could own a dance it’d have been done by now.

you can’t compare music notes and words to bodily movements

All you have to do is say I flailed my arms to the left instead of the right.

you think with how many patents there are you’re the first person to ever think of this?

And people can change the name of whatever they want, but they don’t get the brand name and recognition of the original name. That’s how trademarked names work for anything

if nobody does your flailed arms dance then it's not worth anything so nah you can't just say that. people patent and copyright bullshyt all the time that never amounts to shyt. doesn't invalidate the process

dances are not identifiable simply by name but also moves so if you can identify it then it is distinguishable and unique in composition. it can be owned.

yoga is a spiritual practise and all those moves were made by indians for healing

when yoga instructors sell classes and someone else culture go tell them that they can't make money of flailing arms. tons of pawgs living off those stolen moves...

:yeshrug:

culture gets packaged and sold all the time. you stay in denial. it can be done.

So go patent a dance and make some money then. Since it’s not owned it should be pretty easy.

monetizing something is not the same as owning it and getting some kind of backend when someone does it

Don’t know who she is, and they’re just stupid dances. Brehs care about the wrong things. Be mad about stuff that actually matters
Posts like this really piss me off because it's such a simplistic take. It's not about the dances, it's about white people once again getting credit for something they didn't create. This cac stole opportunities and money from the black girl that is responsible for all of this.

before someone made rap genius nobody would have thought that was an idea that could be monetized as well. they don't own the lyrics but they did.

there was a ton of free lyric sites and nobody would have thought to do it until it was done.

i said it was possible not easy. you say it's impossible. but when a cac does it we will see. :heh:

There’s at least 10 black/blackish celebrities in there. The fukk are you talking about? Sit down. :mjlol:

Do you think Michael Jordan/Jackson/Tyson became the biggest stars in the world solely with black support? Simple ass nikka.
His main point isn't wrong. Of course there are "safe" black celebrities that white people like and support. However do you notice how exceptional and/or "safe" those black celebrities' have to be to get those numbers? Bron, Beyonce, Mike Jacke, Jordan, and Tyson are literally some of the most talented human beings to ever walk this earth. Compare that to Kylie Jenner. What is her talent? And I'm not saying this to hate on her. But if there wasn't a racial element at play here then why isn't there a black celebrity with equivalent popularity with a similar lack of talent? Especially when Kylie mainly strives to look black (Kylie Jenner lips).

Take that Addison Rae girl as an another example. Also she does is dance. Cool. but why does she have 37 million followers when a guy like Toosie is much more talented and creative and Drake named a whole song after only has 500k? @toosie Instagram profile • 584 photos and videos

When you're comparing an argument like this don't look at the top tier exceptions to the rule. Compare the middle and lower ends. Black people have to be exceptional to get the same and times less support than white people who are mediocre.

If Lil Baby was white he'd be as big if not bigger than Post Malone.

I mean this is pretty low on the list of shyt to care about to be honest.

of course they'd do it.
I don’t know how many times I gotta say it...technically yes it is nothing major but I just don’t like seeing this white broad take things from our culture/people and make herself and her family rich off it. Especially in this time and era.

1. It’s better people but she must be popular online.
2. She’s dancing
3. It’s his show
4. She dances
5. This is just not a battle I care about

Black people never get invited when they came up with their own. At this point, black people needs to stop showing white people dances.

White people always stole these black people since they painted their blackface
