Cancer runs in his family so he expected it.

On August 3, 2015, Carter underwent elective surgery to remove "a small mass" on his liver, and his prognosis for a full recovery was initially said to be "excellent". On August 12, however, Carter announced he had been diagnosed with cancer that had metastasized, without specifying where the cancer had originated.[432] On August 20, he disclosed that melanoma had been found in his brain and liver, and that he had begun treatment with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab and was about to start radiation therapy. His healthcare is being managed by Emory Healthcare of Atlanta. The former president has an extensive family history of cancer, including both of his parents and all three of his siblings.[433] On December 6, 2015, Carter issued a statement that his medical scans no longer showed any cancer.[434]

Jimmy Carter - Wikipedia

This man the only good white southerner in politics. One of the only people to call out the hate for Obama as being influenced by racism, even Obama disagreed at the time but we all know how things went :francis:

Shoutout to him for making it through the year that took A LOT of people from us. Maybe there's something to that lean he's drinking :patrice:

I remember that. The fact that he as a white man was willing to stand up and call out the racism against Obama garnered my respect for him for all time. And then the fact that he seems to be a cool guy on top of that using his influence to truly help his own man... I can't help but respect him.

It's funny because he's labeled as a "bad" president by cacs

He was wylin a little bit too tho :mjlol:

I always wondered where the hate for Carter came from because commonly talked about history would have you believe it was because of the Iran hostage situation (which was a bad shake for him):yeshrug:

But I watched a documentary on him last month and by cac America standards, my guy was wylin as president :mjlol:

Came into office telling Americans to stop being selfish and to be willing to sacrifice for their neighbors and that we have to learn how to not be over indulgent. He was basically telling Americans to not be arrogant pricks :mjlol:

And well... we know how that type of message plays to these arrogant American cacs. He even installed solar panels on the white house roof to conserve energy and was telling the American people that they should learn to conserve and stop being so wasteful. :mjlol:

Cacs all went :dwillhuh::hhh::scust:

And then :camby:

:mjlol:
I'm surprised he came president with that type of message in the first place. Either he hid his true feelings until he became president or there was enough resentment from the Nixon years that made it where someone who represented the complete opposite of tricky dikk was able to get elected.

Everywhere...You never there.
Dude been out of office longer than most of us have been alive. :wow: One of the few presidents I can think of who wasn't a POS.

By most accounts , he legitimately seems like a decent man who demonstrates ethics and morals and didn’t lose much of that while in the White House . Probably won’t see that again .

Simply put , the knock on him was that he was literally “too nice.”

Amerikkka, y’all . :snoop:
