Jimmy butler hasn't had a good series since they played the NY knicks. He didn't deserve the ECF mvp it was caleb Martin that carried that team. He choked In game 1 vs denver with 13 points and choked again in game 2 7-19 from the field goal.

God forbid someone else plays well on the Heat, like Boobie gibson did in 07 :manny:

Every one of those shots, Boobie is wide open while there are at least 2 players in Bron's vicinity even though he doesn't even have the ball.

That's literally ONE game that came because the Pistons had given up 48 points to Bron the previous game, including 30 straight to end it, and were running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to stop him. Bron had 12 assists and I think something ridiculous like 8 of them were open threes, plus you can see from the clip he had all sorts of Steph-style assists from guys being open solely because everyone was too worried about where Bron was.

Outside of that game, Boobie averaged 7ppg on 40% shooting for that postseason. :dead:

Lebron is about to be 39 and AD was relatively healthy.

I just don’t think Lebron will ever be that guy pre injury. Too many factors going against him. Also you can pencil another injury for him next season so saying he was 80% means nothing. It’s going to be the same thing, history has shown that.
People be forgetting all it takes is one good injury when you're older and it falls down from there. Plus Bron aint been Prime Bron since what? 2018? A little bit of 2019 before his injury? He been aint the same

But to answer the original question of this thread. Just like others have said no, Jimmy has had too many bad games

He ain't the same, but still was a top-2 MVP candidate in 2020 and easily the best player in the 2020 postseason.

Had an incredible run in December/January of this year too, before the ankle/foot injuries.

Warriors stans trying to downplay the team that just destroyed them is the weirdest fukking strategy.

You know that team we just lost to? Well, they SUCK! And that means their star sucks! While our star...oh, wait, let's back up for a second....

Not sure if it really should be the first Western Conference playoff lose, cause Bron already sent y'all home in the play-in too. :russ:

Idk Bron 2018 run was an all time run, he ain’t win a chip but he was literally possessed up until JR Smith's brain fart.

I never seen nothing like it.

It had to be demoralizing as fukk that arguably the greatest performance in Finals history was taken away because of:

1. A cheap, nonsensical loophole in the call review rules that somehow allowed the refs to review an "unreviewable" call and reverse it.

2. An 80% free throw shooter needing to make just ONE free throw to win the game and missing it.

3. JR Smith catching the ball right in front of the basket with a chance to win, and not even taking the shot.

4. Ref not seeing Bron call timeout with 1 second left that would have at least given them a chance to shoot to win.

Bron outscoring Durant by 30 and still losing was one of the most obvious examples that no matter how well you play, you can't just will yourself to a ring if the other team has a better roster and the uncontrollable shyt doesn't fall your way.
