And it's not bullshyt. Minnesota's owner dictated they had to make the playoffs. Thibs got Jimmy because he knew that was their best shot at making it - and what happened? They made it. Playoff $$ is worth more to most owners than waiting on talent to develop.
It's also inherently stupid to pay tons of $$ to see if FIVE guys can develop into a playoff contender when you can trade for 1 to do it immediately.
