nikkas really in here saying this a bad trade for Butler... Y'all really pumping up Cov and Saric.

Cov was one of the worst 3 in the league and in the playoffs he didn't bring nothing to the table. He takes dumb shots and all he shoots is threes which is not consistent.

Saric is washed defensively and is inconsistent as well. Teams has been exploiting him all season.

We came out good. Got rid of Cov contract and Saric a guy we wasn't going to resign. They still have a ton of cap and draft picks.

What's the point in trading him when they've invested a lot of resources in his development, and his trade value is at rock bottom? There's absolutely no point in trading him. Their only option at this stage is to just ride it out.

They're going to have to package him with a pick (most likely Miami's) or Mucsala to get shooting. I'm not sure if it will be at the deadline or next summer. But buddy is no longer in the long term plan in Philadelphia in my opinion

Wolves waited too long on that Heat deal(Which was on the table before the season started), Josh started putting up decent numbers after that he was off the table..

Butler had announced that he wanted to be traded around the time training camps opened in September. The Heat were unable to make any headway with the Timberwolves, primarily because they refused to include Richardson in any deal.

That negotiating stance by the Heat eventually changed to include Richardson, only to see the Timberwolves ask for more in return. Angered by the move, the Heat broke off further talks but eventually started them again.

Butler brings a dynamic we never had with Embiid or Simmons such as PNR etc..we have a dog who can go get his basket. They are not done making moves and trust and believe they will get shooters. They sign Belli and Irsan off waivers last season

Butler for Cov/Saric is an upgrade period
Saric was ass so far this season and Cov was one of the worst starters during the playoffs last year
They both mad inconsistent
I’m not worried about the fit stuff. Simmons, Butler, and Embiid are all alphas and Fultz supposedly has a crazy work ethic so I don’t see Jimmy attitude issues being trouble in the locker room
