Rockets aren't trading 4 future 1st round picks unprotected, rockets already flabby it would be a Boston heist 2.0 if they did that

The sixers need to be the ones trying to get jimmy, they have the assets

Confirmed insider from ClutchFans:

Desperation and pressure! Arena has been empty. Tillman wants more stars. Told DM to risk future if it means winning now. Also, Rockets know that Hardens injury will be nagging all year unfortunately. To him and Ennis. Will be resting more on B2B... Need JB.

How is that Boston heist 2.0???? they got James and CP3 locked up for 4 years. It's not like those picks are going to be top 5. They going to be 26-30

Sources: Rockets offer 4 first-rounders for Butler

Houston's push represents a desire to sacrifice some long-term roster flexibility and go all-in with a legitimate third star to partner with All-NBA guards James Harden and Chris Paul in pursuit of a championship.

The Rockets' offer constitutes the maximum number of first-round picks allowable in a deal, factoring in league rules that necessitate no first-rounders can be conveyed in successive years, and no pick can be traded farther out than seven seasons.

The lottery protections on picks in this proposed deal would be limited.

Discussions on the players involved in the Minnesota-Houston talks remain fluid, league sources said.
Take the offer Thibs

Somebody convince me why Thibs would do this when he might get fired by the end of the season anyway...

Ignoring that, does multiple late to mid first round picks move the needle? This isn’t a Brooklyn Nets scenario because the Rockets are going to have Harden in his prime (assuming health or unforeseen circumstances).

Unless they plan on turning around and attaching some of those to Wiggins to get off his deal and fully embrace a reset...

You can't trade 1st round picks in consecutive years it would be '19,'21'23 & '25 rockets are old now in 2 years they'll have a core of all 30+ dudes 2 who are injury prone they won't be winning 58-60+ games for years

It would be a boston heist 2.0
