Did you watch the 08 Olympics?

Playing good defense on bums is not the same as playing good def on Stars

Kobe defended his star peers...LBJ passes off that responsibility to Battier, RJ, Crowder, Jeff Green

If you want to break it down LBJ is a good help defender and avg on ball defender

Kob was a good help defender and a great on ball defender

Kobe defended KD better than LBJ w/ a 4 inch height disadvantage

Carry your 15 ppg 36% shooting teammate to a ring just to have clowns say shyt like this brehs:deadmanny:

Just to provide context

Kobe was intentionally injured early in that series...he missed a game, the Lakers lost

The game he was intentionally injured, he got hurt in the first quarter of that game and had 2 points

The other 4 games he averaged 19...

So a star player was intentionally hurt, hobbled more than half the series...in the most impt game of the series, he took over when Shaq fouled out...he gets ridiculed?

That’s asinine

Maybe you needed the context...I witnessed firsthand. No google, no YouTube...NBA on NBC

Everyone who played against them says Kobe is the better scorer.

I would assume the opinions of black men that faced both would be sufficient in this case. But you are white. And I know you crakkkas don't care for the opinions of black men because you are racists.

But me as a black man, if I hear that the black men that played both Kobe and LeBron say one is better than the other, I'm gonna trust the opinion of my brothas. Cause I know they know better than me since they played in the NBA against these guys and I didn't.

But then again I'm black. So I take the opinion of knowledgeable black men in the NBA seriously. You cacs seem to not care about the opinions of knowledgeable black men.

Yes, that makes sense. Being black suddenly means that Kobe shooting the ball more and it going in the net less makes him a better scorer.:troll:

All those moves just to shoot 45%.:mjlol:

Also in Game 4 with Shaq fouled out, Kobe took over in the 4th quarter and led the Lakers to victory and a decisive 3-1 series lead that ultimately got them the championship.

So even in 2000. When Shaq was at his peak while Kobe was only 21 years old and injured, it was Kobe that arguably turned in the performance that won them the championship.

NO - THE ARGUMENT IS DEFENSE. KOBE WAS CONSTANTLY SMOTHERED BY 2-3 DEFENDERS ON THE PERIMETER, WHILE LEBRON IS GUARDED 1-ON-1 WIT A 5 FOOT CUSHION CUZ HE’S NOT DEFENDED FOR THE SHOT.

THIS DOESNT SHOW UP ON A STAT SHEET, BUT ANYONE WHOS WATCHED BOTH PLAY CAN ATTEST TO THIS - AND ITS CLEARLY A CIRCUMSTANCE THAT WILL AFFECT STATISTICS.

“B-B-B-BUT THE BOX SCORE TOLD ME!”
It sounds nice to keep saying that, but Kobe rarely saw double or triple teams until he dribbled the clock out and he had to shoot. If he was triple teamed in a regular situation and shot a bullshyt fadeaway anyway, he's a retard.

If defenses loaded up on LeBron to take a long jump shot every time, he would destroy them by either driving through them or passing to open players.

Mutombo was like 40 during the Lakers championship run

Ben Wallace wasn’t relevant until 03

Kobe’s bbiq is so small yet he’s considered & acknowledged as possessed over the minute details of the game

LBJ turns the ball over a helluva lot...does that means he has a low bbiq

It’s actually crazy that you would even say he has a low bbiq when he’s smarter than 90% of the league. You guys don’t understand how Kobe picks his spots. You had to have watched him live to appreciate how he could get any shot he wanted & he wouldn’t control the ball for 60-70% of the shot clock.

Kyrie is actually developing that same skill in Boston but bc his avgs dropped you proud b think LBJ made him better lol
Mutumbo was 35 in the finals and also the DPOY that year. Yes he was old.

Ben Wallace was already a 2 time DPOY by the time they beat the lakers. Shaq was beasting but kobe was chucking his way to 38% FG

I have seen kobe in person and his footwork is impressive, yes.

Just bc a guy gets an assist doesn’t make him unselfish

Bron Ball does not embrace ball movement bc the assist is normally a pass when the recipient must shoot...

Bron teams have some of the worst ball movement in the league

Its pretty clear that the only reason you Bron stans seem to denigrade the opinions of black NBA players who say Kobe is better than LeBron is because you guys are racists and don't take the opinions of black men seriously.

Its pretty clear that its the white message board nerds that argue box scores are more significant than the opinions of the guys who actually play the game.

My point is that Big Ben wasn’t even relevant until after the Lakers threepeated

Mutombo was over the hill...the West had prime KG, prime Sheed, prime Duncan, prime Webber, Malone, Admiral, Dirk...just to name a few

The East had Alonzo Mourning & not much else

Shaq averaged more ppg than Kobe did ppg +rpg in the 2000 finals :mjlol::mjlol:

Gtf outta here man lol

Did you even watch the 2000 NBA Finals?

Kobe was intentionally injured by Jalen Rose in game 2. He left early in the 1st quarter with only 2 points and a severely sprained ankle. And ankle injury that should have kept him out for weeks. But this was the NBA finals so he hurried back by game 4. In game 3 when he didn't play, the Lakers were blown out. Then in game 4, Shaq fouled out with 5+ minutes left in the 4th quarter of a close game. Kobe, on an injured ankle, took over scoring almost every point down the stretch for the Lakers and giving them a critical win to lead the series 3-1.

Kobe Bryant's performance in game 4 after Shaq fouled out is what won the Lakers the championship.

You white boys need to go back and watch the games rather than just looking to basketball reference to tell you what happened.
