i never get the fascination with coaches and the overrating of their "names"

in this case the underrating of his name and downgrading of his accomplishments

he's a solid coach, has a great roster he can work with, took Indy to the SB in 2009.

of course the avalanche of hate will come..i'll hold off on any reactionary posts until 2014 season starts.
Just like The Cardinals coach and Carson Palmer people didn't expect them to be shyt and they almost made the playoffs. You can't really tell until next year so I will save my opinion till next season

There is nothing wrong with Caldwell, just because he wasn't some overly aggressive black man they tried to act like he had no idea what he was doing.

The 2011 colts team had horrible qb and No running game and Caldwell should have got another chance with that team with his two previous playoff appearances

I'm glad he got another chance

This is a good opportunity for Caldwell to finally prove himself, to pretty much answer the question, "What can he do at head coach with a QB NOT named Peyton Manning and NOT a lost cause like Curtis Painter?" :patrice:

This is probably my biggest concern and it's really a non issue I guess..........I guess. I'm not trilled or disappointed with this firing, I guess when Whisenhunt was hired by the Titans I was hoping the Lions would just take more time in the search but this isn't a bad hire, far from it. I just don't now if the current Lions is a fit for Caldwell more than vice versa (if that makes any sense).

The hiring is really :usure:is what I'm trying to say.

And Here it is, because a black man isn't screaming, throwing his head set, pump fisting, cursing, he's art shell in his second go around with the raiders not knowing anything about football :beli:

Yeah, this is a very wait and see hire, there's no Peyton making his job easier for him to focus on other things so he will have to be very hands on with Stafford or atleast organize a staff that is. We'll see, but definitely glad Caldwell is getting a shot again at a HC gig just a little iffy on it being the Lions.

Schartz was the opposite and those things took place for the last five years, specifically the last three years when the talent was in place. Maybe the opposite might work lol

the calmness of an old black man will get us to the promise land, my Detroit brehs

He's a QB's coach. So, his primary job is to make that f@ggot stop fukkin up. I think he can do it, and Peyton can vouch for him.
