see, problem is, there's plenty of young men out there that fit this description. just like the thread ole boy made about black girls gravitating towards certain type of character. those dudes tend to get over looked until its too late a lot of these girls smarten up after the fact, after they've had a kid or two. then they want to start seeking someone a bit more 'stable'

There are plenty of Black girls who don't gravitate towards that either. Far more so than their are Black men who do the same. But they won't be recognized or mentioned in your crusade to blame everything wrong with the world on them though.

Generally, like 9/10, the men who are impregnating and the women who are being impregnated are of the same caliber. My view is that if you feel one can be shamed mercilessly into acting right the way you want to do Black women, so can those same Black men.

Also I don't think any of you realize that its impossible to ask Black women to be accountable for everything and ever instill responsibility into Black men period, not just the bums. I'm sorry but if even the ones who aren't deadbeats believe that women are mostly responsible for not having raw sex there is no leadership potential in them either.

i agree with that. just seems like with blacks, there's always this extreme. you cant compare the asian dude on a motorcycle with some tattoos to a chief keef type. they have a saftynet and structure we lack, i dont even know why we're trying to compare. I'd say the last...35 years of the black community prove her wrong. Black men have been abandoning their families for decades and the impact has been stark. Children not only need loving parents, they need good role models who re-enforce certain behaviors. BTW this is why young white boys are generally the most confident children in this country. They turn on the television and see themselves non-stop, they're the dominating image of western media, etc. White girls and minorities tend to have less confidence. But when white girls, Hispanic children, Asian children, etc go home they have two parents. Black boys go home to a single mother most of the time.

A strong mother can do amazing things and raise great children, no doubt about it. But with a struggling job? Living in a tough city/block? Dealing with a dangerous environment? The chances of success become lower and lower through no fault of the mother. And of course there are plenty of sorry mothers out there who give their kids 0 chance to succeed.

The main problem with the black community what most people do not realize is the selfishness of the constituents. No one wants to sacrifice. Me, too, once upon a time. Fathers who didn't have a father want to live and chase tail instead of buckling down and doing the right thing by their child(ren) wholeheartedly. Being there isn't enough. Fathers, men have to be POSITIVE and INFLUENTIAL role models. Celebrities and the media are raising this generations not parents. I am speaking at a micro-level of the black communities of Miami. The males want to be pimps and hustlers and expect their child to grow up and become a doctor or whatever.

Mothers cannot be ratchet on social media and out in public then expect to be raising a lady. I have a sh*tload of nieces and their futures look dim sadly because of the example of their mother. School isn't enough. Some people like myself are exceptions.

The way to change is we as a collection have to become what we want our children to become. I mean personality and not career.

If men had birth control that 9/10 times had adverse side effects i.e lowered your sperm count, contributed to weight gain, shrunk your dikk or caused it not to function at all, they wouldn't take it either. Hormonal birth control SUCKS I don't care if it gets the job done or not.
