I'm glad that it turned out that she did not actually say what some scumbag pretended she did. You need both parents to raise a child with the most chance of success, that is undeniable. Any situation without both parents is a situation in which that child is disadvantaged. I don't know where I'd be without my father.

However, for the men complaining, you can't have it both ways. The same men up in arms now are the same ones who blame women solely for pregnancy occurring. The ones who pretend only women make a decision to have the sex that creates the baby or blame women solely for being single mothers because women "chose the men". If you hold that opinion, you are all but basically calling men expendable/accessories. And there's nothing different between saying that and saying male role models aren't necessary.

I mean, if only the woman's actions matter up until that point according to you, you are foolish to believe that people should just accept a change up once the baby is born just because you are now in your feelings about it being stated openly that you are unnecessary.

All your other viewpoints on pregnancy and parenting match that sentiment, so you can blame yourself for the shift.

the no simping/tricking mentality started because men were being used to get bills paid, hair and nails did.

and basically,i believe every black teen realizes black girls respond better to negativity than positivity at some point. so wasting money on a bunch of no good sluts has been thrown out of the window.

Why do you think that's what black girls respond to? Why do you think it's like that?

At the beginning of mean streets
I honestly hate when celebs speak on any regular peoples issues. They are too disconnected from reality to speak on how we should live.

Her ass became afrocentric to get famous. She wasn't always like that
:mjpls:

So was she a dead beat baby muva who found god and then became some neosoul hippie natural afrocentric chick? :lupe:

because having several generations w/o a present father has severally warped what a lot of black girls look for in a mate. and that isn't to say it hasn't damaged us males as well.i just dont believe it hit us in the same areas.
