The vast majority of the homeless have no problem with these solutions and utilize them.

The media is concentrating on a very small minority and making them the face of homelessness even though they're the ones with mental issues that require more specialized care.
the ones with mental issues, drug addiction, and general antisocial/violent behavior are the majority of chronically homeless tho. the down on their luck, priced out homeless person is not as common on the street, they utilize resources, they go back and forth between being able to care for themselves and being on the street. if we're to solve the homeless crisis as in getting the people you see living on the streets longterm into housing, it has to be a system that's set up for, and fully funded, to support those with issues, and that's a lot of money cities don't have and that the federal government doesn't want to fund

That's why I don't understand why they can't create a big facility for the homeless to come in and shower, eat, blah blah blah
they need to build a facility like that every 1 mile or 1.5 miles.

If I was homeless that’s where I’ll be too. It’s bright, enclosed, really spacious, connects to the arrival and departures. There’s like a restaurant or so at the arrivals gate if I recall. Also bathrooms.

Yeah I noticed the JFK shyt a few months back in Jamaica. Walked in and saw like 10 of em laying there. It was always normal to be on the E or F and have multiple homeless people on every car traveling all the way to the end for as long as I can remember.

False....

People experiencing “chronic homelessness” belong to another group that is often singled out for attention. These individuals have disabilities and have also: 1) been continuously homeless for at least a year; or 2) experienced homelessness at least four times in the last three years for a combined length of time of at least a year. Chronically homeless individuals are currently 19 percent of the homeless population.

The fukkery associated with the whole thing. You wouldn't understand it unless you've been homeless.
Essentially, don’t hundreds of prisons do this all day everyday and have been for decades? I’m sure some kinda solution could EASILY be figured from those in power…

But they can use resources to bring in migrants who suck up more resources! Make it make sense.

Use these people to sweep the streets and pay them a decent hourly wage.

they didn't bring the migrants and NYC has shelter with conditions.

they should give them work like that but sanitation union might object.
