A lot of homeless people don't want to be in an organized society. They don't want a place with rules and a schedule.
That's why they hang out under an overpass instead of getting a job at a warehouse or washing dishes.
Essentially, they need to live in the woods and become tribesmen. I earnestly believe many homeless people would genuinely have better lives if they were in a tribal setting where fiat currency is a non factor and shelter, clothing, and hunting/foraging/scavenging is obtainable directly through their efforts.

I just gave you three real life examples of homeless people getting jobs. :what:

I'm not gonna argue with you.
I just gave you data that shows your examples/anecdotes are the exception to the rule.:stopitslime:

None of these jobs pay a livable wage in NYC. They’d still be homeless and overworked. Unless they got lucky and found roommates. And not only would they have to be lucky enough to get enough roommates they would have to make at least 3x the rent in wages because it is legal for landlords to discriminate. Homeless people are more likely to have bad credit, evictions, and criminal convictions on their record. That means they are usually barred from renting due to the amount of discrimination they face.

But to you all it’s as simple was walking into and office and signing up for a job :mjlol:

Take those delusional socialist glasses off, we don’t live in that kind of society.
They would qualify for rent assistance/rent control.

As example, in SF its law that every new high rise saves 20% of occupancy for low income apartment searchers/renters.

They just lazy

That's why I don't understand why they can't create a big facility for the homeless to come in and shower, eat, blah blah blah

Then you'll have these Work From Home or Working Abroad folks taking advantage of this because it's easy to claim "homeless". All for the sake of internet clout.

If our government doesn't want to house them, either ship them to Guam, or kill them at this point :manny:

This is not even remotely true.
There are many who are homeless who have no means to climb out of homelessness.
And the way our system is set up, it makes it immensely difficult to gain a footing once
you're at this point.

Especially if you're in a town like Los Angeles or San Fran or New York.
It's hard for people with medium to high income, it's damn near impossible for people with
NO income.

We’ve been taught that poverty and homelessness is all by choice when it’s really by design. If most people understood this, they wouldn’t direct their vitriol towards the marginalized.
Agreed we won't progress until people direct anger at the proper people because it's not the poor it should be directed towards.

Breh. Be quiet.
I just vouched for homeless people to go get jobs. That's not socialism. If anything that's some pull yourself by your bootstraps bullshyt.
I never said walk into an office. I specifically said low wage jobs that will hire with no "social credit" and yeah they're gonna have to get roommates. A lot of people have roommates. Usually people who have jobs. And they're gonna have to figure out how to get around a lot of those barriers. I had to lie about my income and find an apartment building that didn't do it's due diligence.

This is in no way an ideal world. But let's not act like a lot of homeless people just don't want to do the daily grind.

you shouldn't have to do any of that if you have a job, any job!
