I consider myself an Agnostic-Theist. However, I did have plans and set up a meeting with a rabbi to convert to Judaism in 2015. I'm still questioning a lot of things, but believe Africans are special people too. I've read about the Sephardic, Ashkenazi, and Mizrahi. My beliefs are that G-d may be the universe and Jesus was a teacher nothing more and nothing less. Basically, I kinda believe in the OT only, but still question a lot of things. Some days I feel like ehh this is bullshyt (Atheist tendencies) and some days I'm like that could be a possibility.

Why judaism though? Why not Islam or Christianity. Is it the idea of being god's chosen nation? Don't run across that many people interested strictly in the torah. I like guys like Rabbi Wentworth Authru Mathews. All the one west camps isrealites come Aba Bivens who broke away from the OT isrealites.

They may be going off the Rabbinical torah. I've read about that in a Kulanu and Foward article. Jewish Voice even brought light on the Gefat Jews in Ethiopia. Even though they are Messianic I have tremendous respect for them.

If we have to be honest, we haven't practice any form Judaism in thousands hundreds and hundreds of years. We mainly just kept the traditions. The Aro-Chukwu era was an era of the mystic and the dominates.
