The owner/landlord would shut that down immediately. They are definitely falsifying records (everyone does that) but the landlord would have to be involved in the scheme. Nobody is gonna let their property get rented out without getting a cut...

I thought they meant the women qualify for section 8, as in to live in it with their children because they are low-income. Not qualify to purchase and rent out. We can all do that.

Despite the many comments here about exercising black economics, it simply isn’t feasible with the current quality of the community. Add in the systematic de-valuing of black property in real estate even with immaculate homes in upscale areas, and it’s a mountain to climb. Definitely need laws to eliminate real estate bias in valuations…

Obviously I don't know the details like that but I have dealt with Section 8 in the past. See my post above. The owner would have to be in on it, and I would bet money thats the case with the Orthodox Jews

They definitely do. I agree with all of this. But this isn't that much different than using your friends baby's social security number to get a bigger tax refund. There's a lot of ways to get ahead when you work with people you can trust...
