I was pissed when we didn't hold on to Revis but he demands to much money and we got the SB with him so it was the right move to let him go...Jets can be stuck with giving up all that money to him.

I am however very surprised by Butlers game this season. I thought we wouldn't hear from him after that INT.

Let me break it down for you. I've read multiple posts from you complaining about things which are very obviously indirect complaints about perceived double standards the league has against the *s compared to other teams. You want us to be angry that the Jets weren't punished because you think the *s would be punished in the same situation. But I don't care. We don't care. Nobody cares. The only people who can relate to you are other whiny *s fans. The rest of us give ZERO fukks about Revis and Jets tampering.

And I find it hilarious that your team has had this little "dynasty" going since 9/11 and still aren't going to reach our number of Lombardis.

Are you illiterate? No one is complaining, rather simply questioning a RIVAL about tamper-gate. Damn, you take those comments seriously.:mjlol:.

Speaking of taking things seriously, no one takes any Super Bowl victory pre 1980 seriously, so try catching up to the Patriots, Cowboys, and 49ers.:mjlol:.

10-6 has gotten you to the playoffs like 85% of the time since realignment. The Jets played above their talent level this year anyways. The doom and gloom is a bit exaggerated.

So you expected the Jets to be 10-6 and a shytty game from Fitzpatrick away from the playoffs? :usure: Who brought in the pieces that made that defense top 5 and that WR corps good with the back up QB in mind you?

I didn't expect it but winning 10 games with a bottom 5 schedule, top WR corp, top 5 defense, top 10 running game and 100+ million spent is no great achievement taken in context. The only thing Mac added to our offense which we wouldn't have without him is Marshall -- and that's a maybe because we might have traded for him anyway.

If you have all those things the GM did his job breh :heh:. You are listing those things like they don't reflect positively on him. Only thing he added was the most important offensive player :mjlol:. Schedule is the most irrelevant cop out ever. You knew it was a bottom 5 schedule beforehand and still weren't expecting 10 wins. And you might've made a run if your BACK-UP QB didn't go colorblind the last week of the season.

I feel like Bowles would have got our defense back to top 10 no matter what and Marshall might still have been traded for. Schedule isn't a "cop out"; it's a fact that influences results. We couldn't even beat the Texans who were demolished by Kansas City.

It's a cop out because it's based upon the previous year when all kinds of changes can occur from one year to another. But you did beat the Pats who beat KC. You can do all kinds of gymnastics with the schedule and who beat who and who lost to who. So now we gonna hold the fact that somebody else might have made his great move against him :mjlol:? So basically you just don't like dude? Okay. Let's just leave it at that and stop trying to act like it's anything more.

It's not that I dislike Mac, it's that I think his achievements are overrated. Signing Revis and plugging our defense with star players was something Bowles could have on his own. Trading for Marshall was self-evident. We didn't win anything and we lost to every good team we faced.

You really feel this season is an indicator of next season with a tougher schedule? I'm not carrying a flaw in my thought process feeling it doesn't

It was self-evident which is why he was available for a 5th round pick. Lost to every good team except the defending champs that might repeat :mjlol: You haven't won anything in 40 years, so none of those GMs have done shyt in that time?

The Pats were decimated by injury; that's why they lost. The Dolphins beat the Patriots the week after we beat them and the Dolphins sucked this year. We lost to every good team (minus the injury-depleted) Pats this year. I just don't think Mac did all that much but I can see how people from outside might think he did. In my opinion the key changes made were either initiated or influenced by Bowles (who hired Chan Gailey, schemed the defense, etc), not Mac.

I don't think a season ever carries over. I like Maccagnan and I like Bowles. I'm happy they acted on the special teams. I'm not declaring next season a failure already because of the schedule. 9 wins could get you in next year, who knows.

Having the Pats in the division will always make it more difficult, as they never have a down year.

Maccagnan will cut his teeth in the draft. Until he gets another under his belt it's impossible to fully grade him. He's been on his grind already this offseason, which is a positive.

You didn't answer my question. You set winning something as the standard. Therefore none of the GMs or Bowles for that matter have done shyt then right? I just don't see how it's crazy for a team that experienced such a turnaround and came that close to the playoffs to get Exec of the Year :yeshrug:.
