Sanchez is awful when rushed. Like worst in the league bad. He wets his pants the second he feels a rush coming(end even when it isnt coming)

Hunter was bad last year...but the line wasnt as bad as people made it out to be. Sanchez isnt very smart and he cant handle pressure. Just watch the Giants game from last year...it isnt Tecmo Bowl where you can keep dropping back and throw a laser...

That's my biggest beef with him. He has worst in the league type decision making and he is very soft.

He has a lot of physical skills, but he has t he worst 3 things going against him: Inaccurate, poor decision making and mentally soft.

Sounds just like your boy Alex Smith.

Sanchez is far and away better than Smith was going into his 4th year.

I wasnt referring to him being mentally soft. I dont think he is at all....its him facing pressure from defensive lines.

The one thing Rex needs to get in order is Santonio...who Rex apparently lets do whatever the hell he wants. Where has he been anyways. They should look to deal him imo...the offense is going to suck regardless. Him around a bunch of young unproven wr's isnt a good fit.

I think he is mentally soft as well, look at that Dolphins game. When he gets beat up, he starts to crumble. The more he got hit, the more he fell apart.

I agree with you about Santonio, that dude is a grade A clown and does nothing to help Sanchez out. He shouldn't even be on the team. He is so toxic at this point with that contract and his attitude, who the hell would take him. The whole pre-season sitting out with a rib injury, sounds a bit shaky to me.

He's not mentally soft. I agree. Honestly, I like him in pressure situations. I dislike him when he's facing pressure form a defensive line. Two separate things that one person wants to marry in this thread as one and the same.

Dude throws in the range of 40% with throws under pressure.

It's not.

The first thing I look from a QB is their ability to handle DL pressure. Once you know they're not scared from it, everything else falls into place.

We'll be looking into next year's draft for a new qb more than likely. I was hoping the Jets took Russell Wilson.

It doesn't matter whether he has those weapons or not. Great QB's can turn nobodies into somebodies.

It's amazing how now we're supposed to feel sorry for Fez as if he didn't have good weapons before and was weak with them.

I don't feel sorry for him and I don't think he's top 10 qb period but the only top 5 elite are turning out a good/great season with the talent yall have at the skills positions.

so we've lowered our expectations for the so-called Sanchize to merely be Trent Dilfer? That's the new end game for us? We went from trading up to get the Sanchize to "well maybe he could be Trent Dilfer? In time he can be Alex Smith? Bu-bu-but Eli looked like this too after 3 years?" Doesn't this seem to be on some "lowered expectaaatiooonnsss" type shyt? I mean damn we're reduced to hoping Fez is to Tebow here as Chris Leak was to Tebow at Florida.

and even if you're comfortable with that kind of mediocrity from the QB, even Trent Dilfer had Jamal Lewis and Priest Holmes in his backfield. The Jets are screwed even there.
No, I'm just sick of people acting like its impossible for Sanchize to win it all. Is he top 10, I don't think so but surround him with legitimate weapons and he can win it all.

Do you guys realize that since he entered the league he has the most 4th qtr come backs in the league? Dude has some very solid tools in his box, he just needs two stud rb's and at least 2 dynamic wr's. That way he can work his best attribute, the(big hands)play action game.

I'm not even going to start on Biz and Wayne Hunter:scusthov:

If your best attribute as a QB is playaction you probably are not very good. Who's a bad play action passer?

So basically he needs an all-star team to be successful.

You can blame the line all you want, Alex Smith was sacked more than anyone else in the league last year, he did quite okay.
