and that's the problem like Sanchez could be hitting .400 in spring training ANd he still will get no consideration . Williams likewise they baby everyone

He's in high A and he's 19. Even if he was hitting .600 against spring training comp you can't justify that kind of promotion. This happens to many players unless they, like Trout, are hitting out of their minds.

I get what your saying but I would give him a chance if hes mature we have a veteran filled lineup and guys like arod who Look out for these kids. There is no guarantee with him being in the minors hell do anything . I bet in 3 years still no sanchez . Your saying it's nothing he or a very young player can do to force their hands ? How about he hits like crazy in winter ball , spring training and AA?

If we don't see Sanchez in 3 years, it's for 2 reasons

1. we traded him to get something else that can help

2. he wasn't good enough to make it.

As for the bolded, how about we see him do that while improving as a catcher first? The Yankees have to balance out winning games with developing young players. It's tough to do around here (the Yankees are at their best when they're not in a pennant race-- see 2008)
