In Banuelos' situation, he got hurt. Nothing you can do about that. The stupidity here comes from waiting 4 months to have him go under the knife.
As for Betances, he sucked in AAA. If he pitched well, he'd be David Phelps right now, but he didn't. Phelps proves what I have always said about Yankee prospects: the lower expectations you have, the more likely you are to succeed. It never fails.
