NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Trish was ride or die and the type of friend anyone would want all through season 1, but that moment there nullified all of that
Take it even further. If u look at their past. She was already a shytty person.
I would say that she changed the trajectory of Jessica’s whole life. Jessica was going to school and tryna make something of herself and Trish not only put her in fukked up positions. She made her feel like a leach cause she was paying for the school. That’s when Jessica started stealing n shyt like that.

Na
Bad season, filled with awful people making appalling decisions at almost every turn.

And once again, Netflix Marvel shows are 5 episodes too long.

I think I might be done point blank with the Netflix shows.

Why are they like that tho?
Cuz even with different directors it’s a common pattern

Even though I had issues with its portrayal of the title character and respectability politics throughput the show, I think Luke Cage was the best, most consistent one

No idea.

It's probably a combination of the development/writing pipeline and Netflix saying being willing to pay.

If you're Marvel and you can get Netflix to pay you for 13, you're not gonna turn around and ask them to pay you for less. Same goes for the writers.

These shows should be 8, 57 minute episodes. I mean, I think they literally arrested
her mother
like 20 minutes into episode 8, and there were 5 more episodes after. How the fukk does that work storywise?

All that happened is Trish became more of an ass, Jessica became more of an ass, nikka down the hall became more of a bytch etc. etc.

I already don't watch any main network superhero shows, but I think unless I hear great things about Daredevil or Luke Cage S2, I'm done with the Netflix joints too. I don't need to put up with subpar writing just because I get to see comic books (which I didn't even read in the first place) come to life.

so Trish, who is a pure scumbag that impacts everyone around hers lives negatively is now a fukkin sharpshooter thats knocked off Jessicas mom in cold blood and now has some sort of powers ? ahaha..outside of being a junkie she lives a charmed life.

when Jessica's mom jumped out the window with that cop i went

:lupe:

i expected some goofy shyt were both of them would be safe but the mom got away.
nope. panned to her leaking.

Kilgrave brought some much needed charisma to the screen but his accent is annoying.
the actor is Scottish..let him keep his accent instead of forcing that cockney one.

i liked they give Malcolm more of a role and shout out to Julio from Power. he did good in this.

the Dr. was wearing Grateful Dead tshirts and Cortez..how on brand.
another pointless fashion tidbit...i knew Jessica's leather was Acne.

Netflix has to shorten these series to 10 episodes at the most.
whats next ? Luke Cage then DareDevil ?

Even that was hard to finish after Cottonmouth died
