Marvel movies are probably more diverse than Hollywood as a whole.

There's several black characters. They did Black Panther, Shang Chi, and they just did a series with a Pakistani Muslim hero.

They've cast plenty of black actors. Hell even TI got a recurring role

Those movies came after, and they're not part of the Avengers (yet)

It's better than it used to be pre phase 3. They could still use more Black leads.

Sam Jackson, Cheadle, Tessa, Luptia, MBJ, etc still had big roles without being leads. Mackie led a series. Mahershala will be a lead. They have cast a lot of black actors.

Considering most of these characters were created in the lily white mainstream media days there's not much they can do about the leads.

Look at non Marvel movies and exclude movies that are mainly black casts and you don't see that much diversity.

Black panther comes out and is one of the most financially movies ever.....Into the spiderverse comes out and one of the most unique superheroes ever and rated highly across the boards....that is 2018 alone.
