You're going STRICTLY based off the physical looks. He's a 30 year old man. I highly doubt they're gonna mke fukking Lex Luthor into some fukkin "tech nerd" or whatever. You don't think that Jesse has the ability to pull off a character that would say what you just said in there? I mean, I'm not saying the roles are overly similar, but there were elements in his performance in The Social Network that make me pretty much as confident in his abilities as anyone else.

I'm just dissapointed because it looks like they are going to skip out on exploring Lex's character in depth once again. I can't see Jessie portraying the Lex that fears no man and struggles with the thought, that if Superman didn't exist he could be seen as a "Super" Man and a savior for mankind.

I really feel physical stature has to play a role in that Lex, you can't have him look like he can catch the beats from your average Coli poster

Where are all of these calls for a physically imposing, jacked Luthor coming from? Dude will never go toe to toe with Superman so why would he need to look like The Rock? His greatest weapon is his intellect.

I honestly feel that Luthor's physical stature is a pretty big part of the character much like it would be for anyone else IRL, but he REALLY takes care of his body. Tells you something about a man, breh.

I don't get that. In every incarnation of Lex Luthor on the big and small screen the guy has never been physically imposing.
Hackman and Spacey looked every second of their middle-agedness in the Superman movies.
Dude on Smallville is taller than Eisenberg but they share the same sleight physique.
Lex on Lois and clark looked like your average suburban father of 3.
The cartoon Lex may have looked physically imposing but that was more about the stock way that all the male characters in those shows were drawn than about lex being jacked.
And in the comics Lex has fluctuated between skinny, old, fat and average.

Luthor is supposed to be appealing and look like a really good guy at face value, a guy you would always vote for, a person you would really like, a charismatic and fantastic speaker, a person who you could see becoming The President one day, whilst behind closed doors is an intimidating and ruthless man with no moral conscience who has a presence and swag.
