Damn 7 times. Sounds like he was really about as close as you can get to death without it actually happening. The way Brian described it I'm really less optimistic we'll get the Jerry we're used to seeing again, of course he doesn't look good who would after all that.

I hope he gets better but sadly this is karma coming back in the worst way. Remember how he use to constantly mock Bret Hart's parents? How he mocked Jake's Alchoholism? I mean it goes to show that you have to be careful with what you say in regards to people health. This could be hitting Vince due to his mockery of JR's Bell Palsey months back.

:mindblown:

By that logic Heenan deserved throat cancer because of all the shyt he said??

Some nikkas on here man :childplease:

CT Scan results for Jerry Lawler revealed - Action News 5 - Memphis, Tennessee

Friends, family, and fans have been on pins and needles awaiting Jerry "The King" Lawler's CT scan results. According to Joe Cooper, who is Lawler's best friend and business partner, the results are in.

Cooper says Lawler does not have brain damage as a result of his heart attack Monday night.

The wrestling icon has been stabilized in a Montreal hospital. Family members tell us he is heavily sedated after having heart surgery Tuesday, but he is responding to them and is even squeezing his girlfriend's hand.

While several of his loved ones have already made it across the border, others have been delayed as they try to obtain a passport.

His ex-wife and former WWE diva Stacy Carter has been keeping loyal fans updated on Facebook.

Just after 7 o'clock Tuesday, her status update revealed a concern for brain damage.

This comes after Lawler is said to have gone through an angioplasty procedure earlier Tuesday. Lawler and his girlfriend, Lauryn, were just together in Aruba. The two only returned to Memphis Sunday. Lawler had a fast turnaround flying out the next morning, the day of his heart attack, for Montreal.

His son Brian, also a pro-wrestler, has made it to Canada and is posting on his father's Facebook page.

"He was shocked a total of seven times at the arena and underwent a balloon stint to open up a clogged artery when he arrived at hospital," his son posted on Facebook. "Everyone out there needs to say a special prayer for his brain at this point, please."

It reportedly took 15 minutes for paramedics to resuscitate the wrestler.

Lawler is a Memphis legend with a world-wide fan base. Within seconds of his heart attack, which was caught on live TV during WWE Monday night RAW, the hash tag #prayforlawler was in full force.

The world-wide concern has been overwhelming for Lawler's loved ones. The WWE update story has been liked over 12,000 times on Facebook and tweeted over 1,500 times.

No brain damage is a miracle, folks.

And while there was shameless attempt by some of the media to blame wrestling...it's quite obvious what the culprit was:

A blood clot caused by his flight from Aruba.

update - he's talking and laughing, my plead to TSC to pray in the raw thread paid off

Brian Lawler posted earlier today that his father does not appear to have suffered any brain damage, which was the biggest fear as of last night.

"The CT scan of my dad's brain came back good," he posted.

Lawler on Monday after suffering a near fatal heart attack while announcing, had his heart stop beating for what is believed to have been close to 15 minutes, which is where the fear of brain damage came because of oxygen deprivation to the brain.

Brian Lawler flew to Montreal on Tuesday and has been by his father's side for the past day.

Kevin Lawler, who is not in Montreal, said that his father is not able to speak, but he is writing things on a notepad.

"Not just brief notes, but detailed stores which show he knows where he is and what is going on," Kevin Lawler told TMZ.com

Joe Cooper, Lawler's business partner in Memphis, told WMC-TV, where Lawler was a fixture on television for two decades as the star of Championship Wrestling, the saem thing.

Stacy Carter, Lawler's ex-wife, posted, "The rumors are true. I just got confirmation that Jerry Lawler's test results are in and he has no brain damage. That is wonderful news."

Afternoon update: Jerry Lawler is now talking and laughing in his hospital room so he is seemingly bouncing back strongly from surgery.
