Jim Ross kind of never says what he REALLY wants to say. He kinds of always says the obvious and leaves it at that. Someone like Austin or Jake Roberts will tell the straight truth about someone if there name comes up.
Yet, he's always insightful and i believe everything he says is true, he just doesn't go ALL THE WAY in on questions a lot of times like many others in the wrestling industry do when he could very easily do just that.

i agree, he sorta always plays it safe and gives the politically correct answers to a lot of questions on different subjects, as a way to not step on anybody toes or piss anyone off but you can tell that it comes from a genuine place and the way that he words his opinions :whoo:

good thing he's not an a$$hole, because you know he could really stick it to people and give the REAL inside TRUTH on a lot of shyt that most in the business wouldn't want revealed. He's like the John Madden of Wrestling:wow:

I feel a lot better hearing he has no brain damage. I hope he rests and takes his time recovering I could care less if he doesn't return to the announcer booth any time soon.

I'm sure the job is there when he wants it back, and there's a huge babyface pop waiting for him when he returns. It's the kind of scenario that could rival Bret's return a couple years back, or Flair's retirement segment. Makes for great television.

Maybe give him a storyline that involves a lot of mic work but no wrestling or physical stuff (obviously), and then eventually give him a huge send-off when he does decide to retire. The guy's earned it, recent announcing work notwithstanding. He's probably a top-five living legend in the business.

Whatever he does, he needs to stay the fukk out of the E ring. Aside from Heath Slater's legend angle, it rarely ends well when the old guard comes in and mixes it up with this generation's talent. (Steamboat,Lawler)
