From pwtorch.com:

Also:

Stacy Carter, the ex-wife of Jerry Lawler, says Jerry Lawler is being taken out of sedation and is now responsive after heart procedures Tuesday. The concern now is whether Lawler suffered brain damage Monday night following a heart attack.

Carter's full Facebook statement reads: "I have an update on Jerry. The docs are removing his ventilation & taking him out of sedation. He is responsive, which is great!!! It took a while to revive him last night so there's the concern of brain damage. He had some tests done which will show how much if any damage there is due to the lack of oxygen to his brain. Unfortunately, the results won't be in until in the morning. I appreciate all the calls, texts, tweets, & Facebook messages of support & I know Jerry will too. Thanks everybody!!"

You idiot, did you even read Lafraud's description of the heart attack? Where else is someone going to get him the clot thinners that he needed and widen his arteries to the point that he'd be able to survive a trip to the hospital? Nobody's kayfabing anybody with this shyt. He doesn't do anything else WWE-related, or seemingly is anywhere with EMTs on call, other than Monday nights and one Sunday a month.

I'll say it again very clearly so you know this isn't from the 'E, and if you don't believe everyone telling you this, I don't know what to tell you: Being at RAW saved his life. Point blank, period.

Hey to be fair, he could have been here home in Memphis and he would have just fine.:stopitslime:

Well as long as he didn't go to the Med downtown for God's sakes smh...

I hope he gets better but sadly this is karma coming back in the worst way. Remember how he use to constantly mock Bret Hart's parents? How he mocked Jake's Alchoholism? I mean it goes to show that you have to be careful with what you say in regards to people health. This could be hitting Vince due to his mockery of JR's Bell Palsey months back.

Jerry Lawler update from his son Brian Christopher: "Ok, here’s the latest real update. Lauren and I are here at the hospital in Montreal. He does not look good at all. He is responsive to questions that he is asked which is very good. His sedation and breathing support are being lowered slowly right now. He was shocked a total of 7 times at the arena and underwent a balloon stint to open up a clogged artery when he arrived at hospital. Everyone out there needs to say a special prayer for his brain at this point, please. Tests on his brain will not be available until the morning. One of us two will keep all you guys informed as we know more"

:snoop: Man, I would hate to think this left him with brain damage, or being unable to walk or talk, or something serious like that.

I mean, I know none of that is as bad as him dying, but still. :snoop:

C'mon dude. No one's saying you have to feel sorry for him, but if you don't care about him then it's probably best not to post ANYTHING.

I've seen several RIP threads about people I didn't know/care about, and I just kept it moving. I didn't bust in the thread shyttin' on the person and bringin' up all the bad things they MAY have said/did.

What's next? Booker T dies, and you'll have dudes saying "who cares, he was a criminal.....remember when he robbed that Wendy's :usure:"

I feel ya. This is bumming me out too.

It's rare for a celebrity's situation to bug me. People usually get emotional about musicians or actors/actresses. The only time (as a child) that I ever shed a tear about the death of someone I didn't know personally was when I saw everyone out on Raw after Owen passed away.

It's like...with wrestling, we watch every week and despite what Lawler does off-camera, the guy's been a major voice of a show and an era that's almost...shaped a generation.

It sounds silly but it's almost like when Mr. Hooper passed on Sesame Street. That was before a lot of our time but it's similar because here you have a world within a world full of characters and ideas that we all know isn't real but we play along because it entertains us. You never really put too much thought into it getting real in front of your eyes...at least not beyond a shoot interview or someone breaking the fourth wall for a sec. We're used to the dark parts of life happening behind-the-scenes or way after someone's decided to hung their boots up.

I don't know. I'm rambling but yeah, I'm sincerely hoping King pulls through.
