I'll say this though...

Having a heart attack/angioplasty is some shyt, and I'm glad didn't die on live television. It's not right to wish bad things on people, but I'm not losing any sleep over his condition either

C'mon dude. No one's saying you have to feel sorry for him, but if you don't care about him then it's probably best not to post ANYTHING.

I've seen several RIP threads about people I didn't know/care about, and I just kept it moving. I didn't bust in the thread shyttin' on the person and bringin' up all the bad things they MAY have said/did.

Listen, Jerry Lawler was one of the GOATs and that's why Vince has brought him back time after time because Vince respects that Lawler ran that promotion in Memphis and it was very successful for a while.. Vince respects a good businessman.

Lawler was very good on commentary as well for a while until he stopped giving a shyt.

Also, it should be noted that while Lawler obviously has a thing for girls young enough to be his daughter or even granddaughter in some cases, to the point of being more than a little creepy, the label of "pedophile" is certainly unfair.

The one time he was indicted for anything along those lines, the 15-year-old alleged victim admitted she'd made up the story. So it's one of those situations where a fake charge sticks to him for the rest of his life. Wouldn't wish that on anybody.

Sure, he brings a lot of negative attention on himself by coming off as a dirty old man, and yeah, his color commentary hasn't been good in years. Criticize him for that all you want, but the pedophile thing? Come on now.

After looking at Raw all the way through he didn't look that well the few times they showed him. And i noticed him coughing a few times. That's probably nothing but i just happenened to notice it today. Hope the King well though. And Vince wouldn't stop a show if his own children died or passed out in a ring. He truly believes in the saying the show must go on.

damm according to my friend who's a JR doc, Jerry was in the right place to have a heart attack

Judging by updates and how it happened, he had a very serious type of heart attack called an S.T.E.M.I. What it really means is a clot (or, a type of plaque) lodged in his heart and stopped blood flow and he collapsed.

Limbs and organs can last a bit longer without blood but absolutely not the brain. We're talking minutes without blood and irreversible damage being done. Anyway he went into arrest but they were successful reviving him with CPR. The main part is that he's stable and not on external support (ie he's breathing and his heart is pumping in its own). So the worst part is over.

The main thing now, is maintaining circulation and his heart has enough blood, and doesn't fail, and to absolutely make sure the clot doesnt break off and lodge elsewhere (brain being most dangerous - i.e. a stroke).

So he had a CATscan and by the sounds of it located the clot/blocked vessel in his heart. Very soon after the attack he'd've gotten clot thinners to start dissolving it, put in a hollow tube into the clot so that blood could get through, and also put in a little balloon and blew it up inside the artery to widen the hole for blood flow.

He was extremely lucky that it happened within shouting distance of EMTs and not say in his hotel room where nobody could see him. Long term problems are unknown at this point, but all going well, I don't know if he'll be 100% but he'll be healthy, walking and joking again.

Realistically, if we assume he started getting CPR right when he got to the back, how long was he without oxygen. It only takes, what, 6 minutes or so for brain damage and the worst types of physical effects to set it, right?

Also, it's really scary to consider this, but I can't emphasize enough that it was for the best that this happened here. If this happened on any other day, or even like 6 hours before or after RAW (Lawler's usually only there from right before to right after the shows and doesn't do any type of production work or anything during the week), Lawler would've died on the spot. He's extremely fortunate.

I wanted Lawler off of RAW, mostly because I was pissed at how much he devolved on commentary, but not like this. Reading about how basically he was in the best position TO have a heart attack kinda made his shytty commentary worth it. I'm honestly concerned about his health, and almost feel like a dikk for making fun of Jerry.

As for that pedo stuff, I always knew that it was false because they talked about it on the local news. It was a 15 year old girl from Louisville who tried to make her boyfriend jealous

Thinking about his career: I didn't know for the longest time that he was at married to Miss Kitty. He was used to those t*ts, but the joy in which he said "PUPPIES!" made it sound like he had never saw them in his entire life. That's when I really enjoyed his commentary.

It's pretty plain to see that if this had happened any other place where there are not people there equipped and ready to handle it, he would've been dead. It's crazy and scary to think the dude could've been damn near ANYWHERE besides there doing commentary (other than a hospital), and it would've been over for him. If he fully recovers, he might fear staying at home unless he has someone there at all times. Can't imagine he'd wanna be too many places without someone that can act immediately.

I don't know how all indie shows are set up... but I'm pretty sure passing out at an arena during an event for a big company, you stand a better chance of having help on call than at a middle school gymnasium in front of 200 people. You don't think so??
