That’s not the point of the thread. Is Jennifer Lopez a black woman? No. So she should not be calling herself a black girl. Idgaf what pocket of the planet she’s from. Growing up within and benefitting from black culture doesn’t make you black. She’s not a black Puerto Rican woman. What you’re talking about makes no sense in context unless you believe Jennifer Lopez is a black woman and in that case, that’d be tragic on your part.
The video where Shakira is covered in black oil? LOL. And yes I expect causal racism from un Ethpañol so mal ejemplo. No necesito definiciones - yo en realidad soy una negrita and you’re trying to tell me.
*and I’ll add to that let’s run with your angle of multiple meanings. In the Caribbean, where her Puerto Rican family hails from, negra/negrita does not mean sweetheart. It’s specifically used to note skin tone, like morena, India, rubia. It’s used damn near the same in all three Spanish Caribbean countries. So no, she would not be using it in the context some one from, “Spain” would. She knew what she was trying to say and it’s cringey, to say the least.
