He's right though. Were 2nd in runs, 5th in average, best in slugging and obp.
They're just collectively slumping.

this lineup has reached new levels of choking, in the past the lineup would choke, then the pitcher would give up 5-6 runs and the media would talk about pitching but theres no excuse now, the pitching has given up 2,3,2, and 2 runs and youre about to lose the series? ! pathetic.

for those who actually watched yankee games this year, and not just look at stats like some people, would've told you this is a severely flawed team who relies too much on the home run, and would get exposed eventually.

I watch the games so save the cheap shots but this is beyond not hitting with risp, I mean they just arent scoring, period. Curtis I expected and Ive been saying this year hes a meaningless HR guy, he doesnt even hit for power overall cause his slugging isnt even great for a guy with 40+ hr, he literally only hits HR. Swisher I was touting but I didnt expect him to continue to be this trash in the postseason, I figured he would even out a little. I still think hes valauble as a regular season guy but if hes asking for a lot then he has to go. Gradnerson trade to me is a bust, we got one near mvp season and thats it. And we lost Ajax and Kennedy.
Arod looks worse than Ive ever seen him, I dont even think hes choking hes just trash as a player right now.
even with all the flaws they should be able to score 2 fuccckin runs. Its not like theyre being asked to score 4-5 runs a game.

Yeah if the Yankees bats always hit like this, they never would have made it to the playoffs in the first place. The problem is that they are all sucking simultaneously. If even one of their main bats was hitting right now, the series would be over.
