My Pops Forever RIP
I don't even care anymore. I hope we do lose so hopefully some changes will be made during the off season. I mean if Ibanez doesn't go ham last night, this series is already over. It's not like the Orioles pitching has been that great. It's been good don't get me wrong. We've just been that inept on offense. We've only had 1 inning where we put multiple good at bats together, and that was the top of the ninth in game 1. Other than that, it's been unacceptable garbage.

Not for nothing, but the O's haven't torn the cover the ball either. They've been just as bad. When pitching dominates, nobody will have great numbers. If we wanna be honest about they shoulda pounced on Hughes early on but they didn't.

This is the part of the thread where everyone must get dealt and released and then we pine for other really good players that we can't get.

you don't watch games.

one yourself.

:childplease:

Theres a decent chance I watch more games than anyone on this site.

...but please, explain how watching the games leads to believe that the leagues 2nd best offense is "fukking trash"

Stats don't tell the whole story man. If you watch a lot of games you should know this. And I doubt you watch more Yankee games than we have seeing that's our squad. They're not :trash: in the sense that they can't score. They're :trash: because they have problems scoring runs without hitting a home run. We hardly have any contact hitters in our starting line up. You can't come into the post season expecting to hit 5 home runs a game. Pitchers are for the most part going to have their good stuff. You have to be able to play small ball, string good at bats together, get walks, put runners on base and pass the baton to the next batter. And if the pitcher does make a mistake, clobber it. As it's pretty evident in this series thus far, we're not good at that.

Oh yeah the O's have been terrible as well. But I'm not a fan of them so I'm not concerned with their struggles. The frustrating thing is that we've seen this same story before. We saw it in the post season last year, we saw it at times during the regular season, and we're seeing it again this season. At some point you're just :upsetfavre:.

Watching
plain and simple the weak spot throughout the season has been the only thing going good the last 4 games. Can't explain it. :mindblown:
